The original building was a single storey timber frame workers cottage that had ramshackle additions attached to the rear. The site was luckily wide as it was two lots. We demolished the additions and retained the front two rooms of the original cottage. |

(formerly Stramshall Villa) is located at Macleay Street Potts Point and was built for Lebbeus Hordern in 1871 and designed by Edmund Blackett. It was later extended and finally acquired by the Commonwealth in 1940. |
